Carter is an American Canadian writer and musician excited to amplify Canadian artists. Influenced by their background playing in orchestras and steelbands, they listen to a wide variety of music. Sydney Dargent (she/her)

Sydney is a Vancouver Film School graduate looking to combine her artistic talents with her love for music. Influenced by her parents tastes, heavy metal and rock take up a lot of playlist space. Add in a healthy dose of pop-punk and a dash of indie and you’ve got Sydney’s playlist recipe. She is super excited to be bringing small local bands into the spotlight.
Fun fact: I listen to so much Johnny Cash that country is one of my top genres on Spotify despite not listening to any other country artists.

Petra is a writer, poet, birdwatcher, playlist curator, and nature lover studying communications at SFU. She loves that music is both universal, bringing people together, while also personal, rallying unique memory associations and interpretations. Writing about music has led her to more immersive listening experiences, bringing her joy and inspiration. She loves a variety of genres but lately has been enjoying folk, indie rock, and punk while biking around the seawall.

An alumnus of SFU’s School of Communication, he admires music for how it tells stories that you can hear, live, and feel. You’ll probably find him exiting a SkyTrain station near you with a fresh coffee in hand — venti iced caramel macchiato, three extra vanillas, light on the ice.

Justin is a writer, musician, and (potentially) aspiring politician.
